November Google Spam Update, Desktop Page Experience, Penguin Algorithm, Google Firm Profiles, Google Ads, and extra

It turned out to be a busy week as we have a confirmed update to the Google search algorithm – the November spam update that is being rolled out. I also published my monthly Google Webmaster Report. Google has announced that the Page Experience Update for the desktop will be rolled out from February 2022 to the end of March 2022. Google said that Penguin tries to ignore spam links but in some cases can target the entire website. Google Search Console counted too much mobile page experience data for four months. Google updated their help documents to say that you should put your videos on specific landing pages to get maximum exposure for your videos. Google also gave us more details on job postings and says you put more information in your structured data description field. Google says it uses a lot of signals to recognize guest posts, it’s not just about anchor text. Google is killing Google My Business and replacing it with Google Business Profile, this is like the sixth name for this product. The Google Merchant Center offers new options for calculating the shipping speed. New deal features and ways to report deal logos have been added to Google Merchant Center. The Google Search Console sends notifications that Chrome is automating the process of changing passwords using the Google Assistant. Google Ads has started at maximum performance for all campaigns, and we’ve got more news there. Google Ads has a bug with location-based campaigns, there could be two mistakes. Google’s policy summary has been updated for AdSense, AdMob, and Ad Manager. Google is again testing tags and labels in the search results snippets. Google has a new search box for “behind the doodle,” which is kind of ironic. Google is hiring a spam fighter. Always wanted to penalize websites in Google search?
