The Google Structured Data Markup Helper Instrument is outdated

In 2013 Google launched its Structured Data Markup Helper tool to help website owners mark their content with structured data without having to have any programming knowledge. Well the tool is out of date as you can imagine. Even Google’s Caio Barros confirmed that the tool is “a bit out of date” and any updates requested for it may take time to complete.

Google’s Caio Barros responded to a query about a problem with the tool. He said, “I’ll check with the team to see if this inconsistency is in the documents or in the RRT.” Then he added, “Just to meet expectations here, the Structured Data Markup Helper is a bit out of date not only for this but also for other structured data features that Google supports. I suspect it will be longer take time to fix it. “

This is what the tool looks like, not much different from the one at startup:

You can access the tool at google.com/webmasters/markup-helper.

Just don’t expect it to work perfectly.
