Google says there isn’t a must work on algorithm and rating points over the vacations

Google’s John Mueller said on Twitter that when it comes down to it Updates to the Google search ranking algorithm – You don’t have to work on these SEO issues over weekends or holidays. He said that “Google’s algorithms tend to be long-term”. “So it doesn’t make sense for them to” urgently “change a site altogether,” he added. With these updates, John Mueller said, “You don’t have to work non-stop on weekends / holidays.”

That concern came up when I came back over that. wrote massive Google ranking fluctuations in this week. SEOs shared this tweet over and anew about not working on the holidays, that SEO is not life or death, and that you need to get your work-life balance in shape. My story was quoted in this share:

That sounds incredibly unhealthy:

“There is so much going on in Google search for an SEO that it is not an option for many to leave for Christmas.”https://t.co/81ggkpfR3U pic.twitter.com/nJ3EHmLBvv

John added, “It’s much better to take a few steps back and see the bigger picture. There’s no racing, you don’t have to work non-stop on weekends / holidays. ”It is critical if the fault is on your part, or if there is a server or technical problem on your site. But if Google makes the change at the end of them, there is nothing urgent for you to do – well, even though your rankings are going down.

Here are these tweets:

The only times when things are time sensitive are serious technical problems, e.g. For example, if the server went down, the site was hacked, you added noindex everywhere, or added a broken robots.txt file. However, these are your issues to fix, not changes on the google side.

As I mentioned earlier, here are some of the recently confirmed updates:

And actually more confirmed and a lot unconfirmed updates.

To be clear, Google did this, not you, but it can have a negative or positive impact on your website. I’ll add that the tools used to track Google search results have calmed down a bit today – which is good.

Like I said before, I hope you don’t have any stress with your SEO job over the holidays, and I think you can point out John Mueller’s tweet to your clients that there is nothing to rush here. The truth is, if you get hit by a core update it can take a while several months to repair – So rushing won’t help.
