Most SEOs say they had been negatively impacted by a Google Core replace

Marie Haynes posted another one Twitter Has your website ever been affected by a Google core update? With 266 votes, which is not a huge number, it shows that most SEOs will be negatively affected by a Google core update.

If you remove the “Other / Show Results” section, the results will be broken down into:

  • 71% – Yes, negatively impacted by a Google core update
  • 15% – No, no negative impact on a Google core update
  • 13% – May have been negatively impacted by a Google core update

If you take the maybe as yes, then it’s even 84% that were negatively affected by a Google core update.

I’m assuming that most SEOs have looked at websites that have been negatively impacted by core updates, at least I would hope so for the experience.

For some time, the last official Google core update was between July 1st and July 12th – we really have a new Google core update due soon. We had a lot unconfirmed google updates there, but here are the last confirmed ones:
