Google Ads launches new check web page

Google is unroll a new page for Google Ads experiments that promises to “help you create, manage, and optimize your experiments in one place.” There is a new summary page for your experiments and a sync feature.

Previously, when you ran an experiment in Google Ads, you first had to create a campaign draft and then test that draft separately in an experiment. Google has changed the process so that you can now select a campaign and create a custom experiment for it in a single step.

So now, when you set up your test, you can specify how long you want it to run for and how much traffic and budget you want to use from your original campaign.

On the new Google Ads Experiments page, you can choose to apply the new bid strategy to your base campaign. “This helps you avoid implementation issues and makes it easier for you to see the expected lift from your test results,” Google said. Here is the summary view where you can click Apply Test.

Google Ads is also introducing a new way to sync your tests to their respective campaigns. In the past, you had to manually copy changes from your original campaigns to keep your tests up to date. Now your test will automatically update with any changes you make to your original campaigns. For example, Google said, say, you add new keywords to a campaign while doing an experiment with it. If sync is enabled, these keywords will also be automatically added to your test campaign. Sync is enabled by default when you create a new test.
