Google provides the retailers part to the cell search outcomes

Google recently added a new section called “Shops” to mobile search results. This was first discovered by Khushal Bherwani on Twitter and we have confirmation from Google that this was actually new to Search Engine Land yesterday.

Google said, “We recently launched Shops, a new module available on mobile devices for select shopping searches in US English,” a Google spokesman told Search Engine Land. “We introduced this to give users more seller options in the search. This function currently shows 3 shops and users can then expand to up to 10 traders depending on availability. The selection of the displayed results and their order are based on the organic search ranking, “added Google.

I think it’s nice of Google to have more stores featured in search results!
