Introduction of the asset library for Google Ads

Google Ads is being introduced or now has that of Google Creative Studio Asset library Function directly in Google Ads. I believe Brett Bodofsky was one of the first to share this Twitter and George Nguyen confirmed it with Google a few weeks ago.

Google told George of Search Engine Land “The asset library as it exists in Ads Creative Studio will be incorporated into Google Ads.”

Here’s a screenshot of it in Brett’s Google Ads account:

Others saw it too:

We have it in a couple of accounts too. (for some reason the link was gone for a couple of days, but now it’s back). I want to be able to divide creatives into folders.

The Google Asset Library is a repository that creative agencies can use to upload and organize rich media creative assets. Assets can be used in multiple creatives, so agencies can share them with different campaigns in their Studio account. You can easily incorporate them into new creatives. Now it’s in Google Ads, not just the Studio Assets tab.
