Organize your accounts by standard and custom fields.
The Accounts Summary page allows you to filter your business accounts by standard and custom fields so you can quickly see which accounts meet the criteria you set. In addition to filtering options, you can search for specific accounts – and you can even combine both filters and search to narrow your list further. This allows you to better organize your accounts in the way that makes most sense for your business, such as: B. by representative and region to simplify the area assignment.
Assign an account owner to manage relationships and align teams
Account holders help align teams to deliver better customer experiences.
Who is ultimately responsible for an account? It is important for teams to have internal clarity in order to avoid potentially bad experiences for prospects and customers – for example, if two salespeople are reselling the same customer. The ability to assign an account owner helps manage the relationships for each contact associated with an account for a more seamless and coordinated experience.
An account owner is someone on your team who is assigned an account to manage. An account owner can be a sales rep, sales manager, or account manager – and can help anyone work more efficiently.
- Sales staff. Easily identify your accounts and make sure everyone else knows which accounts are yours. You can also easily transfer ownership of the account to a teammate. For example, you can reassign the contact to an account manager after a deal has been won.
- Sales manager. Get the full context of each account, as well as the ability to assign and update accounts. With the new account holder functionality you can easily scan, filter and view the account holder.

And when you have the account, your coworkers know they can turn to you.
Automatically add important details to an account with the account note automation action
With the new note automation action, you can easily add context to your account records and keep everyone on the same page.
It is important for B2B sales teams to be able to add notes about account activity that their teams can refer to – for example, when a new contact is added to an account.
Now you can automate adding a note to an account as part of an automation flow. With the action to automate account notes, you can document account activities and thus save time that you can focus on elsewhere.
How does it work?
- Add an action step for account notes to an automation
- Add personalization tags from contacts, deals, and accounts for additional insights
- Once a contact goes through automation, the note is added to their account
- The contact’s record also shows that the note has been added to their account
- The account note action will be skipped if a contact does not have a linked account
