Google core replace from November 2021 shaken on November twenty fourth and twenty fifth

Since yesterday and today we have seen again a great volatility in the Google search results that the end of the November 2021 Google core update. Yes, talk about the timing – Black Friday shopping is in full swing today and tomorrow. And yes, we know these core updates take about a week or two to fully roll out, and Google has not yet confirmed their deployment is complete. Can’t these shocks have anything to do with the core updates? Sure – anything is possible. But this is an update for that early big changes We saw the first 48 hours of this rollout.

Pretty much all of the tools are showing high volatility – some showed the changes yesterday, November 24th, and now most of the changes in Google search results are showing an increase today, November 25th, Thanksgiving Day.

SEO chatter

There’s also a lot of talk about these changes for Thanksgiving week. Here’s some of that chatter from Webmasterworld:

Traffic on Tuesday was 97% significantly less with US PVs, but I’m assuming this is just Thanksgiving and as expected it’s even quieter today.

For me, November is the lowest month of the year overall, with December always being the quietest.

47% less traffic in the US today … some of my top landing pages are down 29% to 45%. Overall searches were down 8% and direct access was down 17%, while referral traffic was down 75%. If this is just the holiday, it’s a big drop this year. Strange traffic patterns in real time today. Obviously rollout. There was a second wave that started exactly 7 days after the first wave. And the effect is similar. Our traffic yesterday decreased slightly compared to the previous weeks, but that is not surprising, as it always is (along with today) since it is Thanksgiving in the US.

Even so, we lost about 35% of our traffic in the last year, which I was hoping to fix with this core update.

Here is some of the content people share on Twitter:

I see a recovery from the first move.

Lots of indexed “search results” showing up on some large KWs that I am targeting.

Not a full recovery, just slightly back. I haven’t seen many new sites ranked either.

Mostly just big niche authority pages with their random tags or search pages taking the top spots. that will likely change in the next week. Happened before.

Yes, I’ve seen this reverse trend. A large part of the targeting KWs lost the visibility of multiple accounts and now they’re back to where they were before the update

– Syed Bilal Ahmed (@Billymovhic) November 24, 2021

I saw a big increase at a customer’s yesterday. Nada for the others.

Big leap today on some projects. News publisher.

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving! Second, I mentioned tremors yesterday and it looks like we’re seeing more today (which makes sense.) Here are 2 pages that fell initially and came back a bit (not where they were, but not that bad as they were). Stay tuned, we could see more. https://t.co/FnxD0JiAeW pic.twitter.com/eLhSAL9xt4
