Error in Google Search Console with consumer permissions and a few delays in reporting efficiency

Google has confirmed a bug where some users do not see the users and permissions in the Google Search Console. There are also complaints about slightly delayed performance reports that have been going on for some time.

Delay in performance report

The truth is, the Google Search Console performance report doesn’t seem to be as current as it used to be in the past few weeks. The pipeline must be a bit behind and delayed. It’s underway and Google’s John Mueller is aware of it. Here are some complaints from yesterday:

Sometimes these things have hiccups that have to catch up a bit, patience :).

I’m showing 11 hours ago right now – so almost there, but this has been going on for some time. I just think we’re a little slow. The data will come in and we will be able to see the impact of the Core update from November 2021 hopefully early next week.

But now I only see data from Tuesday, and it’s almost 30 hours late. It’s just a little behind.

User permissions error

Caio Barros published by Google in the Google Search Console forums about a bug with user permissions. He said, “There is currently an issue in the Search Console UI where full users can see their delegated owner status under Settings> Ownership Confirmation. If you go to Ownership Confirmation, you will see your delegated owner status, but you will Can’t see the users and permissions option, your user is likely a full user and not a delegated owner. “

If you have to manage users, you have to change your (real) user status to “Owner”. If so, you have two options: (1) Ask a verified owner to add you as a delegate owner at https://www.google.com/webmasters/verification/details. (2) Check the property by yourself using the domain name provider’s method.

Google engineers are investigating the user interface issue to resolve it as soon as possible, Caio said.
