Google doesn’t use Google Analytics 4 for rating functions

Google’s John Mueller posted a very much needed clarification that Google doesn’t use Google Analytics 4 for ranking purposes. As Google has said countless times, it doesn’t use Google Analytics in its ranking algorithm, so with the new Google Analytics 4.

John said that on Twitter “We don’t use GA4 in the ranking.”

We don’t use GA4 in the ranking but it seems like they have a lot of passionate users so I would recommend it.

The second part of his tweet was a little joke …

Google said that in 2020, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Google says bounce rates are there not good signals, in 2008, Google said it was a loud signal and also said in 2008 Click data are not used for rankings. That is a myth Google said but then you have people on google who are wrong create more confusion.
