Google Product Reviews December 2021 replace accomplished

Google said on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 that the Google Product Reviews update from December 2021 is now completely rolled out. Alan Kent from Google shared this news on Twitter After asking for an update, he said, “The Google Product Reviews update is fully rolled out.”

The update began 20 days ago on December 1, 2021, just under three weeks, as announced in the original announcement:

Our December 2021 product review update is now being rolled out to English-language sites. It will take about three weeks to finish. We’ve also expanded our advice for product reviewers: https://t.co/N4rjJWoaqE

I have a lot of information about this update in my original story including a new story about this update to be lit. and that it will be fully rolled out Days before christmaswhat it did. Glenn Gabe posted his massive Analysis and findings item about this update, which you should also check out.

Here are some updated facts:

Quick facts about updating Google product reviews

Here are the most important things we know right now, in a nutshell:

  • Surname: Google Product Rating Update for December 2021
  • Started: Dec. 1, 2021 around 12:30 p.m. ET
  • Completed: December 21, 2021 (mostly in all data centers)
  • Roll out: It will take about three weeks for the rollout to be complete
  • Goals: It deals with the content of product reviews
  • Punishment: It is not a punishment, it encourages or rewards “insightful analysis and original research”.
  • No core update: Many will say this is a core update, but it isn’t.
  • Only English: This currently only affects English-language content, this is a global introduction, but currently only for English-language content.
  • Impact: Google didn’t want to tell me what percentage of queries or searches were affected by this update.
  • Discover: This update may affect your performance in Google Discover, Google. impact previously said.
  • Recovery: If this has affected you, then you need to take a look at your content and see if you can do better with the following advice from Google
  • Refreshed: Google periodically updates this algorithm, but may stop reporting these updates in the future. This may be the first update Google has made, it will be the first update Google communicated about.

Is it fully rolled out? Probably 99%, so I’m not saying 100% just yet:

I’ll check it again, but it involves a complicated provisioning process across multiple data centers, etc. For example, a machine has failed and won’t get the update until it’s started up again – something like that. So most of them roll out pretty quickly, but there is one tail that lasts longer.

So “it’s mostly done” is now true. Is it 100%? This can certainly be more difficult to verify (but the remaining nodes are probably noisy by now).

As you know, Tremors for the past few weeks were intense – but there are signs that it is cooling down a bit now – but that may change in a minute.

For more information about what to do if you are affected by this update, see over here.

I’ll add that the tools used to track Google search results have calmed down a bit today – which is good.

Hope you did this update well!
