Google Merchant Center report reveals badge eligibility

Google Merchant Center can now show you which products are automatically eligible for badges. Krik Williams shared a screenshot showing this new feature and Search Engine Land Received confirmation from google that this is actually a new feature.

Here is the screenshot that Kirk shared on Twitter A new column will appear there that contains badges that can be displayed on Google along with your products.

Eligible badges include:

• Selling price
• Price drop
• Amount
• Percent discount
• Buy a lot, get a lot
• Buy quantity, get percent discount
• If you buy quantity, you will receive the same amount on the same product
• Buy quantity, get percent discount on the same product

Kirk said, “This is really helpful as customers often ask how they can be eligible for this (remember, they are automated by Google) and it’s not always clear.”
