Joseph Goldsmith on video manufacturing, vlog enhancing, and filming

This is a very special vlog, I interviewed the exact person who edited these videos for the past few years, Joseph Goldsmith. And we did it with a view of the George Washington Bridge, from Fort Lee Historic Park, with a view of New York City.

In the first part of the vlog, I ask Joseph Goldsmith about his history and background in video production and the practice of videography. He walks past Jo or Jo Jo so if you see him on the street you will know how to call him. He was born and raised in New York, but now lives in Tel Aviv, Israel. He does vlogs, but spends most of his time working for companies that do high-end video productions. He did video work in the house for another company and left his full time job five years ago to freelance and he loves it. On my vlogs, I do the filming and he does the editing, but most of the work he does both the filming and the editing.

We went on a COVID vaccine tangent for a while – sorry, but it was fun. You need to know that I personally know someone who works at Pfizer, someone who worked on the COVID vaccine, and their last name is Needle – no kidding.

I went through the process of how Jo and I work with the vlogging, editing, and our workflow. The process works smoothly and sending 70GB files back and forth without any problems. The funny thing is, while we were talking about it, other vloggers were taking some pictures at the same time.
