The Google core replace from November 2021 is stay

As you know, with the introduction of the November 2021 core update yesterday, Nov. 17, around 11 p.m. ET. Below is a summary of the early chatter and data we’re seeing in this update less than 24 hours after it started. Keep in mind that we are likely to see more in the next few days, but I wanted to share some of the early reports on the impact of this update.

There has been a lot of chatter lately, mostly about when this update will be released, but some are already reporting major traffic changes on their websites or customer pages. I’ll summarize what I see on the forums and social media below in relation to what we see. In terms of tracking tools, too, many are already showing major changes – not all – but many.

SEO Chatter On November 2021 Core Update

It’s very early to see just chatter, I mean you can pick up hourly changes and some are. But for news sites like this one, this is not a good idea – this page is very high because of the Google update news – so you can’t use charts to say I saw an increase on news sites. You have to watch these pages for several weeks …

But for regular, non-news based websites, you should be able to see traffic changes quickly as you pick out seasonal or other outliers.

We have threads on Webmaster world, black cap world, Central forums of Google search, Comments here on this and other pages. Here are some quotes from those threads based on this new update:

Ok, so the core update is officially made available. On our side, our sales (e-commerce) have collapsed so badly that our advertising budget is more important than our income! 80% loss ATM … here. Rollout day 1 seems pretty slow and uneventful (no complaints). agree or disagree? I can understand why it’s quiet here – there isn’t a lot of volatility in the SERPs, at least not yet and not all day. However, there was quite a bit of volatility with our specific KWs and our site throughout the day.

SEMrush 9.2 in the UK today (was only 6.0 yesterday). Brace yourself 10% less than last week … Huge decrease today. I can only wait for this update to progress … Seems great. One thing strikes me very clearly. All of the spam and bot traffic that the spam update got rid of is suddenly coming back. Some of my sites have been inundated with Chinese bot-like traffic for the past few hours. 130% increase after the spam update was over – Nov 10th 10x decrease in total traffic since yesterday afternoon compared to what it should be. But can’t measure it right at the moment, I need the weekend to get a better picture. But this kind of drop has never been seen before. It is true that yesterday and today are pretty “dead” days for me, but it feels like something bad is about to happen. It’s just weird. I dance like crazy

Some of my websites are shattered. Others are not affected. See big moves on my sites, mostly positive, keep your fingers crossed, it seems big – I’m down a lot. At least for my biggest side. My other sides seem relatively untouched. About 30 percent less since 10 a.m. (Germany). Still moving …

So far, the chatter has been limited to ranking disruptions. Most of the chatter has to do with the timing of this release, which I’ve covered at length my story yesterday.
