Enormous replace of the Google search rating algorithm on October 2nd. and 03.10

I know I sound like a broken record, but we have another unconfirmed one Update of the Google search ranking algorithm over the weekend. This one, according to the tracking tools off the charts, is huge, massive and all those funny adjectives. The weekend chatter doesn’t match what the tools show, at least not yet.

Many of the tracking tools are showing levels that we haven’t seen since a Google core update. Moz reported 101 degree weather, Advanced Web Ranking was at the top of its charts, Accuranker I don’t think I saw that high, RankRanger was super high, Semrush rose to 9.2 and the other tools are super hot too.

But like I said, the chatter isn’t insane, which can mean that maybe something was changed by Google that triggered the tools, but the rankings or traffic that SEOs are tracking hasn’t been affected at the same level? SEOs are still bouncing off the weekend, but here’s the chatter I’ve seen so far WebmasterWorld around October 1st.

After 7 days of very good and converting traffic, it started yesterday with garbage traffic and today the traffic has decreased again by 50%. I think it’s a rollback from the update to 24/25. The traffic in the US today is horrific, -36%, and it’s getting worse today. AU joined the party but was down for most of September … Britain and elsewhere remain strong. USA Publisher here. The traffic in the US is terrible on September 30th and October 1st. It’s strange because, for example, Semrush doesn’t seem to pick him up. Which makes me wonder, is the USA just sleeping? Of course, this would be the best scenario with US traffic falling by 30%, which is still a long way off, about 30% less than the first two weeks of September and still falling. The US has dropped so much that my UK traffic is now 2/3 of the US for a population 6 + X bigger. The Australian traffic also flashed completely for a month. Interesting how the US and Australia are where most of my sales come from. Google knows way too much about my business. Big movements across all subjects and countries. The volatility is similar to a core update. It’s the update they started with yesterday. Yesterday USA (Only USA) in Semrush was over 8.0. Today all countries are above 9.0 at Semrush. I am sure the rollout started yesterday. Since the US is also above 9.0 today, this means that the rollout will continue. This is far from an ordinary update that they do on a daily basis in my opinion. Maybe it’s the MUM? Any thoughts, another drop in the top 3 ranking, but recovery in the top 10+ … I’m getting off the top 3 for high volume searches for a month, so back to where I was during the June chaos was. Traffic in the US is still way down and my homepage is down 73% this morning.

Now, as I said above, tracking tools are really on the rise.
