Google Search Console crawled, unindexed errors, even when listed?

Lily Ray published on Twitter that many SEOs notice this and post about it on Twitter with “many examples of URLs in the GSC report” Crawled, Not Indexed “(with the current crawl data) that are actually indexed URLs”. There are many and many of me on this topic and it seems that Google is investigating the potential problem.

Here is Lily’s tweet with Daniel Waisberg of Google’s reply saying, “Can you DM me some examples?”

Just to make sure I’m doing it right … in the sample coverage report urls they are classified as “crawled, not indexed” and “submitted and indexed” during url verification?

Can you send me some examples via DM?

This can be a timing issue where the Search Console report deviates from the reality of the live index. When the error occurred in the Google Search Console, the page might not have been indexed, but two days later when you tested that particular URL, it was in the index. But with the number of complaints, it’s hard to believe that the Google Search Console report wasn’t flawed.

Maybe there is a problem with quality or maybe other problems or maybe it’s a google bug. Maybe it’s related to the ongoing issue of Pages in and out of the index that I think is not resolved?

Anyway, here are some of the complaints with a hat tip on Sajio.

Seeing this behavior too, @danielwaisberg send concrete examples via DM (I probably can’t because of your DM-Konf on Twitter)

For about two weeks, however, it can also be a time-out situation.

same for me. If you find something interesting, please don’t forget to let us know 🙂

Yes, experienced the same and thought that maybe they have been indexed by now?
