High contributors to the 2021 search engine roundtable

As you all know, I am sourcing a lot of forums and twitter threads here for the stories I write. This site would not exist without the amazing people who make up the search industry. When I started this site over 18 years ago, the purpose was actually to cover what the community was raving about, and this site has stayed true to that today.

I thought it would be fun to work out of all the stories this year which people and Twitter phones I cited the most over the past year. So I had one of my developers do some queries to get me a list of the most cited Twitter handles in my stories for 2021. This is in addition to my review in mine 18 year anniversary story – Read this if you missed it.

Note that this site cited over 1,350 different Twitter handles in our Stories in 2021. So while, yes, John Mueller has been quoted in a lot of them, there have been a huge number of Twitter accounts that I’ve embedded and / or linked to in my Stories over the past year.
