Google November Spam Replace Accomplished, Google Testing IndexNow, Googlebot IP Addresses, and Extra

I’ll start by announcing the winners of the Squid Game contest I had last week. Google completed the rollout for the November spam update after 8 days. This November Google spam update seems big, at least it has some legs. Some suggest that this update also targets camouflaged spam content with inserted links. Google said expect more algorithm updates, more core updates, more spam updates, and more of all the good updates. Google said it could start testing the IndexNow protocol for sustainability efforts. Google has confirmed that the desktop page experience update also takes into account intrusive interstitials. According to Google, there are no separate guidelines or requirements for interstitials for legal or consent reasons. John Mueller, Gary Illyes and Martin Split also recently talked about the future of SEO in a podcast. Google has listed all the IP addresses that the Googlebot uses. Google Sitelinks can now scroll-to-text and highlight. Google said again that one day machine learning-developed content will not violate its guidelines. Google Ads accounts can be suspended for violating the Google Webmaster Guideline. Google said that embedding videos in your pages can slow down your website, but if you use other methods, Google may not notice that there is a video there to index. Google said you shouldn’t be linking to your website. Version 1.8 of the Google Ads Editor is now available. Google’s keyword planner tool has added data year after year. Bing Shopping has added departments, stores, editors, offers, price trends, and Amazon integration. Google Local has updated its inventory design, shipping to the branch and a new offline sales feed for Google Ads. Google found an easter egg for the page no results, it shows a fishing game. Google publishes a major EU antitrust deal over shopping, but won an even bigger lawsuit in the UK over iOS tracking. And we all mourn the sudden and unexpected loss of John Carcutt.
