Looking ahead to 2022, here is a roundup of key issues on the roadmap and the strategic initiatives we’re focusing on to help you succeed in the social arena:

Increase efficiency with custom posts per network

Schedule amazing content faster. With the Hootsuite dashboard, you can now customize text, mentions, emojis, and switch hashtags for each social network – without having to schedule each one as a separate post. You can also preview the differences in Composer before you publish or schedule your posts.

The update improves efficiency for users who want to post similar content on different networks. Gone are the days of clicking drafts to customize hashtags / links / mentions for each network individually. You can also get a preview of what posts will look like on each social network before they are published, remove potential bugs, and ultimately take full control of your social presence.

Get a holistic overview of your content

You asked and we listened. Planner will soon include a monthly viewing option! You can enable a monthly view that summarizes the status of your posts to make it easier to review and optimize the post cadence in Planner.

Make edits directly from the Streams view

We know that social media content is constantly changing. So we wanted to make it easier to take action when you need it. You can change and edit posts by adding a direct link to the planner whenever you find something you want to improve. Quickly edit, refine, and review posts you’ve scheduled by accessing the scheduler view for each post from the Streams view.

Stay up to date with push notifications on Hootsuite Mobile

Never worry about missing an unread notification again. We added indicators to the app icon and bell icon in Streams to remind you of unread notifications.

You can now visualize unread notifications and see what has been opened and what requires action.

Understand the impact of your LinkedIn campaigns better

As part of the migration from Hootsuite Impact, we moved Linkedin Advertising to the main Hootsuite dashboard along with the previously published Facebook and Instagram ads. You can track the performance of LinkedIn ads at the individual ad level, ad group level, and campaign level within the Advertising Performance module and reports from Hootsuite Analytics.

By doing a detailed analysis of your campaigns and ad metrics, you can easily compare changes over time and share these reports with your stakeholders.

Dive deeper into your post analytics

Hootsuite Analytics provides our impact customers with the highly anticipated detailed reporting and post-level metrics capabilities.

You can add organic content tiles to Hootsuite Analytics reports and filter by tags on organic platforms for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. This corresponds to the ad functions for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Get insights into how your content is performing in 2021

Add context to your reports and PDFs in Insights powered by Brandwatch

Reports can be complex – personalized notes and context can make all the difference when interpreting metrics. In a moment, you will be able to add annotations or notes to your planned reports and PDFs, which will provide more clarity and context to your stakeholders.

This feature will be available for Business and Enterprise plans who have access to Insights powered by Brandwatch.

Keep track of the most important conversations

You can customize and personalize your email notifications right from the pop-up to best suit your needs, with the additional features:

  • Specify the notification time and frequency
  • Adjust the number of ‘mentions’ per email
  • Edit the filter settings directly from the pop-up

Employee activation

Employee representation and social selling have become a major focus for many companies. We want to give you the tools you need to help your employees reach customers and prospects and build more connections.

Edit and manage your content live – in Amplify

Amplify admins will soon be able to edit, delete, and send back to Drafts content directly from the All Content feed in Amplify. You don’t have to edit the content in Streams view – you can do it all in one place.

This feature is available to our commercial and corporate administrators and can be accessed from the Amplify desktop view.

The best part? This update will make it easier for administrators to navigate changes and manage posts without adding additional work.

In Amplify, the weekly goals in “Desktop View” allow administrators to engage their social sellers and incentivize them to share more weekly based on top goals.
