Garden Open Day

Enjoy a relaxing day in the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens for the Botanical Bonanza Open Day featuring orchid tours at 10am, 12pm and 2pm, access to the 25 themed gardens, bonsai display, a chance to speak with garden experts, barbecue and meet and greet with the Hunter Heroes.

Medowie Social event

Medowie Social is hosting a fund-raising event for its one year anniversary. Open the community, the event will include a reptile show, face-painting, live music and a screening of Tom and Jerry on a big blow up screen on the bowling green, raffles, lucky door prizes and live music.

Birubi Twilight Market

Fridays at Birubi is a new family friendly twilight market by Birubi Beach featuring 80 stalls with a variety of products, live music by local talents, food vendors and a playground and skatepark nearby. This market will also be held February 25, March 11 and 25, April 8 and 15.

This locally owned and operated market offers a great selection of artisan and handmade products, hot food, coffee, drinks and sweet treats, live music set up in the park next to the Fingal Beach surf club. This event will also be held February 26, March 12 and 26 and April 9.

Performing live and free will be Tim Harding, a professional vocalist and musician for 23 years. As an original member of the group Hi-5, Tim brings a wealth of talent and experience to his performances.

Homegrown Markets – Medowie

February 18: Boyd Oval, Medowie. Time: 4pm-8pm.

The Homegrown Markets is a local-focused market featuring handmade, eco-conscious creatives and designers. The market is family friendly, bursting with good vibes, acoustic music, great street food and kids activities. This market will also be held in Medowie on April 29.
