Clubhouse Launches Saved Replays, Unveils New App Icon

Clubhouse got a final update before the holidays with a new Saved Replay option that allows users to save the audio of recorded Clubhouse chats for later listening.

As you can see in these screenshots, posted by App Researcher Jane Manchun Wong, you can save up to repetitions for one room Either in the hallway or in a live room, tap the three-dot menu where you will now see an option to save the playback for later. You can then find your saved repetitions via a new share icon at the top of your profile.

Clubhouse has officially launched its recorded rooms option Last monthafter it has been discovered during tests by various users, and the ability to save the audio for a later phase, adds to the utility and functionality of the option and provides more flexibility and value for your clubhouse experience.

Though I suspect a lot of people won’t care. Clubhouse has disappeared from the face of social media earth after its massive, sudden rise earlier this year, and while audio social is still used by many, it now seems pretty clear that it is not the breakthrough format that some had imagined on a par.

However, there may still be opportunities in the format, and so it can only be beneficial to provide more usage options, especially as this new process will help add value to your chats.

In other news, Clubhouse also unveiled a new app icon featuring streaming influencers Abraxas Higgins will the new face of the app.

As per Clubhouse:

See, he’s making money. Maybe you can too. But maybe not.

Anyway, there are still a lot of people using Clubhouse and it is especially popular in India so the social audio app could still have marketing potential.
