New from Buffer: Start Page

The past year and a half has shown many of us that too often small businesses are the unsung heroes of our world. At Buffer, we’ve continued to be committed to small business for nearly 11 years. Earlier this year we decided to step up our efforts to help small businesses by making something even more accessible to people who are starting out and expanding the types of problems we solve.

Today we start Home page by Buffer for everyone who wants to create a beautiful, mobile-friendly landing page in a few minutes and update it in seconds, all for free.

We designed Buffer’s publishing, analysis, and interaction capabilities specifically for small businesses. Now we’re looking into something social media-related to help with another huge challenge we’ve known small businesses to face – how to properly use that one important link we all get on our social media profiles.

There are a large number of Link-in-Bio tools out there, but we wanted to develop something different, something that would give small businesses and individual creators the flexibility and ability to create a beautiful page to brand their products, content, To present events or announcements, all via one link.

The homepage is a quick way to generate a landing page and URL for your business, regardless of the type of business you’re running. Combined with our social media tools, Start Page creates a powerful toolset to get started marketing your business.

This is how the homepage works

Just go to buffer.com/startpage To start building your homepage, if you don’t already have a Buffer account, you can set up one for free.

You can add fields for text, images, videos, social links and more right in our editor to create the layout you want, or you can choose from one of our pre-made templates. From there, you can customize page colors and styles, as well as add your own images, GIFs, and logos.

Once you’ve created and customized your page, just click Publish to claim your unique URL and share it on your social profiles, email signatures and marketing campaigns.

What’s next for the home page

We’ve already heard from several companies and individuals that they love the home page and we are excited to keep developing the home page as more and more people use it as a home for their business. Custom domains, adding analytics for pageviews, and creating even more topics are all on our radar.
