Andalusian blueberry fills area of interest within the worldwide market

The Observatory of Prices and Markets of the Junta de Andalucía has reported that exports of blueberries have increased by 17% in volume and 22% in value, compared to the previous campaign during the months of February to June. There have also been indications that the monthly trend of blueberry exports has been “similar” to last season, while extra-community exports remain “very little” representative.

In the case of strawberries, sales abroad have increased as well, by 4% in volume and 17% in value, in the first seven months of the campaign, compared to the previous one. Raspberry exports have decreased by 6% in volume and have remained in value, compared to the previous season, in the first nine months.
