Google 1/11 Search Algorithm Replace, Handbook Actions Delayed, Core Replace Specifics and Microsoft Bing IndexNow Information

We had our first unconfirmed update of the Google search ranking algorithm in 2022, it was on January 11th. Google admitted that there is a backlog in responding to manual actions. Google said they want to share more details about core updates, but aren’t allowed to. IndexNow co-sharing URLs are now fully live between Microsoft Bing and Yandex. Google said fluff content is difficult to understand, but it seems Google ranks the content well. Many SEOs said they will still buy links in 2022, even though it’s against Google’s webmaster guidelines. Google said that in order for links to be counted, they must be on indexed pages, and even then Google may not count them. Google still encourages you to invalidate entire domain names. Google reminded us that the search quality rating guidelines were not designed for SEOs. Most SEOs don’t trust the strategy around Google Discover. SEOs said they will focus more resources on content this year. Don’t block, I repeat, users from slower regions to speed up your core web vitals. Google Business Profiles now requires new owners and managers to wait seven days to make changes. Google tests trending videos in mobile search results. Google is testing web stories for NFL games. Google Ads has introduced a verification tool code for disapproved ads. And a survey shows that 90% of SEOs are vaccinated – imagine.
