Google Spam Replace rollout accomplished in November

It took Google about eight days for the Spam update in November, the rollout began on November 3rd. This update targeted content spam measures that violated Google’s webmaster guidelines. It seemed to have a more significant update than the previous spam updates.

Google’s Danny Sullivan said on Twitter that this spam update is specifically targeting “content” that violates Google’s webmaster guidelines.

It appeared to be this update had a couple of legs there was more to it than the last spam updates. Some suggested that it be addressed Cloaked content spam of some shapes, but it was probably wider than that.

Mozcast showed high fluctuations here and there, especially on the 3rd:

We have reported on many many unconfirmed updates since that confirmed update, but the last confirmed update was that Link spam update which was rolled out between July 26, 2021 and August 24th – which was four weeks long when Google said it would take two weeks to roll out. Before that was the July 2021 core update, Spam update part 2, Spam update part 1, Page experience update, Predator update, Core update from June 2021 and Product rating update.
