Greta Thunberg is trendy again on Twitter for all the wrong reasons

Meanwhile on Twitter … things are less than heartwarming.
We are aware that Greta Thunberg (climate activist) is making waves.
The problem with social media, however, is that many commentators are seeing a pattern that has become very apparent over the past few years. Thunberg uses social media to talk about climate change. He draws attention to himself, but offers few solutions.
Many commentators take her up because she speaks but doesn’t act.
Here’s another one that’s even more specific:
This is actually the problem with protests, which are effective in raising awareness of a topic, but often fail to find practical solutions.
They point the finger, and that’s a good thing in some cases, but they also don’t use the same fingers to develop action plans, develop new products or services, or consult with those in power.
An additional tweet mentions the idea of taking action and making positive changes. The comments are equally hostile, asking the activist to provide more detailed plans. Here is her original tweet:

Another common argument is that this issue doesn’t really affect corporations and oil companies. Commentators say the real call to action, which will matter most, is for ordinary citizens to stop driving gasoline-powered cars and try to change their lives on a daily basis.
A second answer made it clear how the smallest changes actually make a big difference. While driving up drastic carbon savings is appealing, they are hard to do. One commenter said:
