Google says hyperlinks from reporting instruments don’t have any impression on rating

Are links from reporting tools like Similar Website and SEO Report Checker affecting your website in Google Search? According to Google’s John Mueller, the answer is no.

This is a new question that I haven’t seen yet. But John was asked about it Reddit “Do links from websites like Similar Website Checker and SEO Report Website Affect a website’s ranking?” John simply replied “no”.

But I think it really comes down to it, is the report published as a URL that is indexed and accessible to google? Are the links on this url being followed? Do they carry any weight in the eyes of Google?

The chances are these reports are unlikely to be indexed by Google, and if they are, they are likely not considered to be of good quality to help you rank in Google Search. That’s probably why John said “no”.

We have seen these types of reports indexed in various ways over the past few decades. The old days of pingback landing pages and referrer url spam pages and so on. They really don’t affect Google search anymore and that would probably be one of them.
